Slowly matured Hebridean Hogget meat bred and raised in Glen Urquhart Loch Ness. Our flock is fed a pure grass & hay natural diet for a low cholestrol and fully developed flavour. Hebrideans are a native and rare breed of sheep originating from the west highlands, they are not a commercial breed and are still undeveloped being fine boned and light on their feet. We maintain their hardiness by breeding to this type. Our flock live outside as nature intended 24 7 365 days a year and roam on low density semi scrub farmland where they can enjoy their natural diet of varied flowers, grasss, trees and shrubs. All of this impacts on their meat oroduce which provides a fuller flavour, lean and tender.
